WILD TEAMS SHOW STRONG IN 2009-2010
by RPH posted 04/16/2010

The Virginia Wild sent 3 teams to post season CBHL play and 1 team to the USA Hockey State Playoffs. The Wild Peewee A’s, U18 AA’s, and U18 A’s all earned CBHL Playoff berths this season. The Peewees and U18 A’s both won their CBHL Regular Season Championships, including a perfect record for the Peewees of 20-0-0. The U18 AA’s also earned a berth to the USA Hockey Virginia State Championship before falling to a very strong Richmond Team.
In the CBHL Playoffs the Wild U18 AA’s were knocked out in the first round. The U18 A’s rolled to the Playoff Championship only to be stung by the suddenly streaking Bowie Team.   The Peewees capped off “The Perfect Season” with a perfect playoff run by defeating Easton in the Championship. With this victory the Peewees finished with a perfect 22-0-0 record!
